General Consultations

 

If you have general questions about something accounting or tax related, we offer one-hour general consultations via Zoom. This gives you one hour of personal one-on-one time to ask questions, get clarification, or explore options. If you require more than one hour, it is an additional $85/hr that will be billed upon the appointment's completion.

We recommend you have a list of questions or concerns ready to go to make the best use of your time.

Please note this is for general business questions - NOT as a 'start-up' consultation.

Start-up Consultations

 

Our start-up consultations lead you step by step through the process of registering your business at a federal, state, and local level (if required). We also guide you through sales tax information, LLC registration information (if applicable), general information on bookkeeping and year end taxes, and common questions about inventory and expenses. 

Your appointment will be one hour via Zoom. At the end of your consultation, you are sent a copy of the recorded Zoom meeting, a detailed PDF summary, and copies of our 3 e-books that go further into common small business deductions, inventory, and sales tax.

Check-ups

 

Estimate & Witholding Check-up

We can help you calculate your quarterly estimates using your Paper +Spark or sales data. We can also check that your current withholding numbers may cover what you owe at the end of the year. Please note this is an estimate and we cannot make any guarantees.

End-of-Year Checkup

 

Our end of year checkups are scheduled in November and give you a "snapshot" of your potential tax return using current data and projected data for December. This can be a useful tool to help you plan out any end of year purchases or sales. It will also give you an estimate of your possible tax liability or refund status.

 

To calculate your snapshot correctly, we need quite a bit of information. Once you've booked this consultation, you will be prompted to sign into our software Taxdome, where you will fill out our questionaire and upload any supporting documentation if needed. This must be done at least five days before your appointment so that we have time to generate your projections.

 

For your appointment, we will meet online with your via Zoom. You will receive a recording of the Zoom call afterwards to review.
